A – Achieve your dreams.
The first step is to avoid negative people, things and places. The more positivity you have in your life, the easier it will be to achieve your dreams.
B – Believe in yourself.
If you don’t believe in yourself and in what you do, it will be harder for others to believe in you also.
C – Consider things on every angle and aspect.
To be able to achieve your goals, every aspect of obtaining it should be looked at. Write down the different ways that it can be achieved, get a friend to help you if you find this difficult. As an outsider, they can help you to see aspects that you may not have thought of.
D – Determination.
Don’t give up and don’t give in.
E – Enjoy.
Enjoy what you do, enjoy what you’re achieving, or find something else. It’s that simple. Motivation takes place when people are happy, and if you’re not happy in doing what you’re doing, it’ll never get completely done.
F – Family and Friends.
Don’t loose sight of them. They will be more important than you probably realise. Your family and friends will support you in your journey. They can also help you to see things objectively. Constructive criticism can be extremely beneficial in succeeding.
G – Give yourself a break
Now this can be put into two ways. First off, don’t be hard on yourself if things don’t go exactly how you visualised it, there may be a few adjustments that need to be put in place, that’s all. Focus not on the failure. Secondly, take a break from it occasionally. Its good to work hard at reaching your goal, but what good is it if you have burnt yourself out emotionally and/or physically in the process of it?
H – Hang on to your dreams.
They may sway for a second, but these will be your driving force. No matter how many times others may knock you for what you’re trying to achieve, don’t lose sight of your dream.
I – Ignore those who try to destroy you.
Don’t let other people get the best of you. Half the time it’s because they don’t possess the determination to be able to achieve their dreams and if they discourage you from reaching yours, it makes them feel better about themselves.
J – Just be you.
The key to failure is to try to please everyone. We all try to please Joe Blow at the office, neighbourhood, society by conforming to what’s expected. Don’t! Be you, the best person you could ever be, that way, you’re always winning.
K – Keep trying
No matter how hard life may seem, keeping at it is key. There may be times where life kicks you in the guts, knocks you back a few steps. Get back up again and show life how determined you are.
L – Learn to love yourself.
This is important. If you don’t love yourself, and love what you do, others won’t either.
M – Make things happen.
“Motivation is when your dreams are put into work clothes”. I love this quote, I wish I knew who to credit for it, but it is so true. Make things happen by working at it, don’t wait for someone to hand it to you.
N – Never lie, cheat or steal.
Always play a fair game. Don’t try and take someone else’s idea, or hard work. At some stage in life, you may come across others that have the same idea/dream as you, and you may think you can do it better or quicker than them. If you did, would you be truly satisfied with the end result?
O – Open your eyes.
Dreams and goals may need to be broken down into smaller attainable steps. Opening your eyes to this, and breaking down your goals, helps you to reach that final destination of winning
P – Procrastination
Don’t do it! The longer you sit around thinking about it, the longer it will take to achieve it.
Q – Quitters never win.
And winners never quit. So, which do you choose – are you going to be a quitter or a winner?
R – Ready yourself.
Motivation is also about preparation. This is where writing comes in handy. If you write down what you need to do, read over the steps along with the desired result, your motivation to get out there and do it increases…Try it!
S – Self-doubt
Get rid of it, show it the door and kick it in the ass on it’s way out. When you start to doubt your ability, your goal gets further away.
T – Take control of your life.
Discipline and self-control are important factors in obtaining your goal. Self-mastery skills assist in taking control of your life.
U – Understand.
Aim to understand why you want it first, is it for personal, monetary or other? Aiming for your goal and not knowing why you want to reach it, makes it harder for you to put in place the tasks that need to be done to achieve it.
V – Visualise it.
Visualise what you want, visualise the result of getting it. Now go get it!
W – Want it.
Dreaming it is one thing, but wanting it enough to go and get it is another.
X – X Factor
This is what will make you different from the others. When you are motivated, you tend to put on “extras” on your life like extra touches on your work to make it unique, extra time for family, extra help at work, extra care for friends, and so on.
Y – You are unique.
You are you, don’t aim to be anyone else. Value your life and existence, imperfections and all
Z – Zero in on your dreams and go for it!!!
No other words needed here 🙂 Now stop reading and go start turning your dreams into reality
Til next time,
Stay safe, stay smiling!
